Some authors include the genus Barclay in the family pitcher. However in the domestic literature it is accepted to allocate Barclay in a separate monotypic family.
Thailand, Burma. The leaves are lanceolate, up to 3-5 cm wide and up to 50 cm long, heart-shaped at the base. Petiole is up to half the length of the leaf, rosette location.
